About this project
Description
1.The project will support the generation of multiple global environmental benefits (GEBs) in two of the countryÔÇÖs priority ecoregions that are severely threatened by multiples pressures of local production systems. This project proposes an innovative approach to these threats by adopting multi-sector and multi-stakeholder and landscape-wide approaches that recognize the complex interactions that underlie the impacts of local production systems on GEBs. It will achieve this by removing critical barriers related to policies, markets, finance, governance, resource management planning and technical support.
Objectives
To mainstream biodiversity conservation, sustainable land management and carbon sequestration objectives into production landscapes and sectors in humid broadleaved and dry zone agroecosystems.
