About this project
Description
The project will focus on strengthening the key biodiversity areas (Servech, Nalibokskaia Puscha, Sporovo, Zvanets, Turov Lug, Olmany Mires, and Dikoe) in forest and wetland landscapes and sustainable management of forest and wetland landscapes outside PAs, but those which host important species. The project will implement programs for identification, mapping and description of populations and threats of poorly known globally important species and ensure regular monitoring of the biodiversity, soil and carbon benefits.
Objectives
To introduce a conservation-centered and financially self-sufficient approach to management of forests and wetlands that harbor internationally important biodiversity and are important for climate and land integrity.
