Project description
The objective of this project is the reduction of emissions of greenhouse gases (GHG) from the change of land use and forests in Brazil. It will do this through investments focused on the implementation of the Floresta+ programme, a new incentives programme developed by the government of Brazil which will provide payments to family farmers and indigenous people that fulfill certain environmental criteria related to forest conservation. This will contribute to the mitigation of Climate Change.
